HANDMADE IN SMALL BATCHES

One of my goals is to remain as Eco-Friendly as a product-based business possibly can. As a start-up, one person operation, I am always taking into consideration the cost of materials, quality of product and overall cost of product while keeping sustainability in the foreground. I work tirelessly to ensure that these items are produced in a way that make me feel proud to sell them.

ECO-Friendly Packaging:
I use a combination of honeycomb packing paper, crinkle paper, kraft boxes, twine, biodegradable paper and packing peanuts as a void fill/cushioning which keep pieces safe in transit and are great because not only are these items recyclable but they also reduces material use, which in exchange reduces the energy consumption in order to produce it.
NATURAL WAX
Coconut Soy Wax Candles burn up to 50% longer, stay cooler, and burn much cleaner than Paraffin wax candles. Paraffin contains petrol-carbon emissions that are toxic and carcinogenic, can trigger allergies and also travel through the air which will eventually coat and build up on the walls and surfaces of your home. With soy, the air stays clean, there are no carbon emissions, and you save money because your candles burn so much longer!

REPURPOSED STONE VESSEL

These handmade, hand poured stone vessels were created with repurpose in mind. Once the candle has been burned and the materials have been cleaned out, these cement vessels can be reused for so many things; as a pot for plants, organizer for a desk area, q-tip and cotton ball holder or on its own as a vase.

SEED PAPER DUST COVER
These seed paper candle dust covers are designed to help protect your candles in an eco-friendly way. The plantable paper they are made with are infused with wildflower seeds that will sprout and grow when the seed paper candle dust covers are planted in soil. That means you have the bonus gift of flowers to your  candles and leave no waste behind. Plantable Dust cover on stone candle

BIODEGRADABLE BAGS
Eco friendly cellophane alternative! Made from vegetable starch, biodegradable and have been Certified OK Biobased, and is suitable for composting!

PACKING MATERIALS

ECO-Friendly Packaging. Corrugated boxes made from corrugated paperboard which is easily recycled due to it being relatively sturdy therefore can be used multiple times. I use a combination of honeycomb packing paper, crinkle paper, kraft boxes, twine, biodegradable paper and packing peanuts as a void fill/cushioning which are great because not only these items recyclable but they also reduces material use, which in exchange reduces the energy consumption in order to produce it.
Biodegradable packing peanuts are made from non-toxic sources like wheat and corn starch. You can dissolve them under the faucet or throw them into your compost piles. As a bonus: biodegradable packing peanuts dont't stick everywhere!

WICKS

CD Series Wicks

Made of all natural pure cotton, free of metal, zinc, and lead.

These wicks are flat braided with a special paper filament woven around them.  This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent burn while insuring a wick trimming flame posture.  When your candle is lit, you can feel confident that your wicks are not emitting harmful chemicals into your home and the atmosphere.

FRAGRANCE

Stone and Harvest Candles are created with "clean scents". What does that mean? They exclude phthalates, carcinogens, and other cancer-causing ingredients. Scents are guilt-free, as they don't cause harm to you, your loved ones, or your fur babies.

I am always looking for ways to become even more sustainable and reduce my carbon footprint!

Growing and harvesting flowers in Cornwall, NY for Stone and Harvest

About the grower

Grown in Cornwall, NY

I spend the season growing flowers in neat little rows that slowly turn into something beautiful. Mornings start in the garden, hands in the dirt, gathering whatever is blooming into loose, natural bunches.

When I’m not tending to flowers, I’m making handmade concrete home decor — simple pieces that feel calm, earthy, and intentional.

Life here is shared with dogs, chickens, a beehive and that quiet, grounded rhythm that shapes everything I grow and create.

It’s a simple kind of life, close to the land — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
